Sometimes Nice Guys Don’t Finish Last

While in Illinois I recieved a phone call from my uncle Danny that began with “I’M DONE!”  That can only mean one thing around here :)  So here’s the story…..

Danny’s good friend Jim “Jake”  Jacobs of Starcraft RV was in town visiting last week.  Danny decided to take him to a farm that has great potential and a high chance of Jake getting a shot.  After getting Jake where he needed to be Danny decided to go sit himself in a set he has never hunted.  About 6:00 PM Danny couldn ‘t believe it when he looked over and saw what can only be described as a huge 8!  After that Danny says it was all a blur but at the end of the night one of the biggest framed 8 pointers we have ever seen was laying at Danny’s feet.  167 inches from only 9 scoreable points and main beams that topped 27 inches!  A true monarch to say the least! matt w.
